I had the privilege of attending a concert at South Florida Community College last evening that was, in my opinion, excellent. The Highlands County Concert Band performed some of the most enjoyable music I have heard in a long time. For a long time I have been using an AT&T phone where I've been buying minutes for 5 cents a minute. Now they increased it to 25 cents a minute for every call you make in Florida. We decided to buy a cell phone. One store sells it for $20, another store sells it for $30. The ad reads "no daily fees, no bills, no contracts or no surprises. It is always 10 cents a minute." That is a bunch of bull. You have to keep buying minutes over and over, whether you need them or not, or they shut your phone off and you can throw the phone away! ...more
