Actors in the Stage Company at Tampa Preparatory performed a musical version of "Wind in the Willows" for children at Tampa Day School on Jan. 14 and at Hillsborough County Children's Shelter on Jan. 23. The 45-minute presentation included song and dance in a re-telling the classic children's story. Theater teacher Scott Warfell said for a long time he has wanted to create a Tampa Prep traveling production that would bring theater to schools across the county. It now is possible through the generosity of a Tampa Prep parent. "Wind in the Willows" will continue to be presented through the remainder of the school year. ...more

New residents were startled recently when they realized that all the furniture had disappeared from one corner of the Atrium; then they noticed a large red object with pronged feet squatting there, close to the floor.
