The present writer is home safely after a week in the Northeast, where he enjoyed spending $100 for a ticket to the U.S. Open, only to have it rain all day. He saw no golf Thursday for his 100 bucks, but did succeed in getting drenched to the bone. Bridge is played indoors, thankfully.
