THE DIFFERENCE: The running of fullback Maurice Hagens and quarterback Angel Rodriguez teamed with a pursuing Titans defense to dominate Leto (1-1) at Tampa Bay Tech. Hagens and Rodriguez each scored three touchdowns for Tech (2-0).

GAME NOTES: On the Titans' second drive of the game, Rodriguez scored on a 38-yard run. After Tampa Bay Tech scored a safety, Rodriguez went in from 11 yards out. A 2-yard plunge by the senior quarterback later in the second quarter gave the Titans 21-0 halftime lead. Hagens took over in the second half, finishing off Tech's first drive of the third with a 10-yard run. The junior's next two scores came on runs of 15 and 5 yards. Leto's touchdown came in the third quarter. Quarterback Brandon Toombs found Adolfo Navarro on a 31-yard pass that set up a Toombs-to-Antwoun Howard scoring pass from 15 yards out.

STAT OF THE GAME: Hagens rushed for 170 yards, while Rodriguez added 109.
