Employees, family members and friends of Freedom Plaza will be walking in the Freedom Plaza Sun City Center Memory Walk 2008 to help find a cure for Alzheimer's. Freedom Plaza is part of Brookdale Senior Living, an Independent Living Community.
The event will take place Nov. 22 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Freedom Plaza, 1010 American Eagle Blvd., Sun City Center.
Freedom Plaza announced its commitment to support the Alzheimer's Association as a Platinum National Team for Memory Walk 2008. The walk helps to raise funds for research, care and support nationwide.
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
